Washington, DC — The glaring omittance of the mention of over 20 million African American children killed by abortion by civil rights groups such as “Black Life Matters,” NAACP, and the Congressional Black caucus has incited L.E.A.R.N (The Life Education And Resource Network), the largest African American pro-life network in America, to display the “ALL BLACK LIFE MATTERS” pro-life display at the “Justice For All” gathering in Washington DC, and other Northeast key cities October 12-14.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said in 1970, “black people are the target of birth control, not because the ruling politicians like them and care about their economic equality, but because they hate them and can no longer use them in plantations and other cheap labor conditions.”

“History tells us that it was the Nation of Islam and the Black Panther Party that were the early clear clarion voices that warned the African American community of the systemic plan of eugenics being perpetrated upon them by the leading abortion provider today – Planned Parenthood,” says Rev. Dr. Clenard H. Childress Jr., Assistant to the National Director of L.E.A.R.N. “We need the voices of the Nation Of Islam to speak even louder today, I believe African Americans need to hear it from Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam leaders on a far greater level than they heralded in the 70’s.”

Childress, a Baptist preacher, says he has no qualms about reaching out and asking for the voices of the Nation of Islam who are Muslim. It is his hope that they once again raise their voices against the scourge of abortion and the systemic efforts of population control of Black Americans.

Childress stated, “I would be foolish and quite bigoted to ignore the valiant productive efforts of the Nation of Islam in the Black Community. I don’t wish to collaborate to talk theology but to partner in what we share in common and that’s the lives of black babies and the protection of women from predatory practices in our community.”

Abortion is decimating the African community at the rate of 1,786 a day according to Allan Guttmacher, the research arm of Planned Parenthood. The founder Alan Guttmacher was the President of Planned Parenthood at the time the Honorable Elijah Muhammad made his comments.

Rev Dr. Johnny Hunter commented, “We also cannot forget the efforts of the Black Panther Party whose methods I always was not in agreement with but whose courage to speak out against Black genocide, when very few did, is highly commendable and needed today.”

It was Brenda Hyson of the New York Chapter of the Black Panther Party who made this comment in July 1970: “The abortion laws hide behind the guise of helping women, but in reality it will help to destroy our people”
